The arts has a positive impact on our youths. Whether it is to help our youths with their self-confidence, or encourage bonding, or simply as an avenue for expression. Some of the sports programmes offered by SAMH Creative Services are infused with art elements to help our youths process their learning and experiences.

Overcoming Mental Illness

YouthReach played one of the important roles in my recovery. My communication skills and interaction with others improved. I learnt to set realistic and manageable goals with my social worker and manage my condition with small and simple steps. YouthReach was a place I could rely on, to integrate back to society gradually. I made friends with other youths and it was like a safe and inclusive community. – Nigel
